Meet our volunteer organizers for IdeaCamp Davao. These are the guys who are so passionate about the idea behind the event that they have spent their free time and extra cash to make it a reality.

Mark Maglana

Mark is a product manager for Morphlabs. He holds two Master of Management degrees from the Australian National University and from the University of the Philippines in Mindanao. His interests lie in social entrepreneurship and the use of IT to enable and enhance the inherent capabilities of a local community. He also has an ongoing curiosity with business incubation as an evolved form of multi-divisional firms. His blog is at technopreneurship.wordpress.com.

Holden Hao
Holden is a graduate of Australia's Monash University where he took up a post-graduate course in Information & Communications Technology in Education. He has been involved in numerous ICT projects and activities as an organizer, trainer, and systems administrator. His field of expertise is in Free/ Open Source Software implementations of Network Security, Voice over IP, Thin Client Computing, Virtualization, and Web Development.

Art Esmeralda
Arturo Esmeralda Jr is a passionate social entrepreneur. Through a unique combination of over 9 years experience in the IT, Aid agency and Contact Center arena, Art has held various positions in various multi-national corporations, as well as founding companies of his own. His diverse work experiences and practice is based on his education from Don Bosco Technical College in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering and London University. He founded TierraCycle, a Hybrid organization combining IT, Vermiculture and sustainable farming advocacies. He is also the executive director of DabaweGNU.org and the Vice President for Public Relations and Communications of ICTDavao Inc.

Marlo Simon Noval
Mon has a bachelor's degree in IT and is currently working as a freelance web developer and designer. He's mostly involved in promoting Blender, an open source 3D creation tool that rocks nearly as much as Mon's graphics skills!

Andrew Abogado
Andrew has a bachelor's degree in IT and specializes in web development and design. He is a strong proponent of Free and Open Source Software. He designed the really cool logo for IdeaCamp Davao and is our resident graphic artist and web designer. He also designed the awesome IdeaCamp Davao shirt!

George Tujan
George has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with post-graduate units in MsIT. He is the president of Neuraltech Innovations, Inc. which specialises in vehicle tracking systems and consulting services. His areas of interest include GPS and mapping. He spends his spare time demonstrating his mad guitar skillz with his group 9volt Lemonade. At other times, he loves promoting Ubuntu to the general public. Nathaniel Jayme
Nathaniel is a system developer especializing in Free and Open Source Solutions (i.e. Mozilla Technologies, PHP). He is currently a code contributor to ffEHR, Cruxade, and BOI.
